ADAS Windscreen Calibration
New glass in front of the camera means the camera has to be re-taught.
Lane keeping, autonomous emergency braking and adaptive cruise all read the road through your windscreen. Change the glass and the camera's reference point shifts by millimetres, which is enough to make the car brake late or drift toward the next lane. We are certified to put it right.
We run both static calibration, using manufacturer target boards on a levelled workshop floor, and dynamic calibration on a road drive, depending on what your vehicle's maker specifies. Some cars need one, plenty need both.
